One of my box truck's tires separated from the rim ,but It was still riding. I tried a tire company close to where I was when I noticed it. That particular attempt was to no avail, but they gave it a honest try. I reached out to a friend ,and he recommended Boyd's Tire shop. I arrived shortly. I went in and talked to a friendly gentleman that was servicing a Cadillac. I told him what my problem was, and he told me to pull around the back. He finished the Cadillac and I positioned the truck where he wanted it. My tires are 275/70/19.5's . This man was very knowledgeable. He told me that a 19.5 needs to be off the ground when the tire is not snugged up on the rim in order to fill it with air. He took a bottle jack and raised the truck up. He then sprayed a solution around the edge of the tire. He took the pin out of the stem for rapid air fill. Pressure was put against the tire while filling. The next thing I knew , I was ready to ride. Boyd's tire personnel are very professional and knowledgeable folks. I'd giv'em a 10 star if I could. I highly recommend Boyd's , and I plan on buying my next set of tires from them. The gentleman told me a funny joke as well.

Today was my first time visiting Boyd's but it won't be the last! I received excellent service (at a great price)from a friendly fella and he even gave me a lollipop afterwards. You just don't get that kind of customer service in 2026. Support small businesses!

I have been coming to Boyd's Tire Center since I had my first car, on a college student's budget. He always provide great service with an even better price. It seems that people sometimes get upset when they drive around back and see Mr. Boyd working on another car, because he is supposed to be exclusively working with theirs, 😆. He may or may not let you know the state of your old tire since you came to him in the first place. I just had to ask today. I didn't know one tire was down to the wire. The other, yes I felt the bump on the previous day when I turned on my street to go home. That red thing is a roofing nail, who knew? Mr. Boyd did, lol. Dangers seen and unseen... Thanks for the tire service and for letting me pick my own lollipop.

Highly Recommended – Professional and Helpful Mr. Boyd may come across as a serious person, but he is actually very friendly and cooperative. His prices are reasonable, and he genuinely tries his best to resolve your problems. He’s knowledgeable and seems to have solutions for almost everything related to tires. I’m really glad to have someone like him in our city. Highly recommended!

Simply the best in town. Nice, affordable, and willing to help. Needed a tire and Mr. Boyd fixed me right on up. I've used him before and this time wasn't any different. If you need good service and a friendly face...this is the place!
